Common Stores Dollies – Complete
DGI is managing the manufacturing of several Common Stores Dollies which will be used up-load/down-load to/from aircraft and to transport the ARS and the 480 gallon external fuel tanks (FPU-11/12) ashore and afloat.
ARS Pod Preservation
DGI must identify and execute an evaluation and preservation task for fifty (55) ARS Center Section Assemblies currently in Non-Operational State, requiring comprehensive restoration. This involves assessing corrosion, stripping paint, applying primer, and coating interiors, ensuring long-term storage readiness.
US Navy and USMC Bomb Carts 2019
Aviation Ground Support Equipment is required in support of the Small Diameter Bomb (SDB) II weapon system. Peculiar SE end-items have been developed by the government to handle, transport, and load the SDB II for United States Navy and Marine Corps operations.
Recoil Exerciser for M777A2 155mm Lightweight Towed Howitzer 2019
In September of 2019 D. Gillette Industrial Services was asked to manufacture, assemble, and deliver a Recoil Exerciser (REx) — a special tool for the M777A2 Lightweight Towed Howitzer. The REx will provide the ability for users to meet the maintenance requirement for exercising the recoil every six months, or can be used to verify functionality after major maintenance activities. It has a recoil length of ~55 inches. The REx will provide a 24V DC powered means of operation to limit manual input and reduce pullback cycle times.
QECA/NP2000 Maintenance Trailer
DGI must design, develop and produce the QECA/NP2000 Maintenance Trailer for support of the E-2, C-130 and C-2 Aircraft and all engine and propeller configurations.
NAVAIR Engineering Group SATCOM Cables 2018
A requirement exists for the W867 cable assembly, to support design changes for the SATCOM signal improvement effort.
HUMS Cables for the H-1 Platform 2018
A requirement exists to support and captivate the UH-1Y and AH-1Z aircraft Tail Rotor Blade Strap during maintenance to prevent damage to the Strap or Blade.
ALRE Visual Landing Aids Contract #N6833518F0459 2018
The objective was to procure a night vision device modification kit for the LPD27 ship. The NVD kit parts are NVD filters compatible, lamps and attaching hardware to be installed on to the LPD27 ship as part of the tasking to NAVAIR Lakehurst by PMs317 to upgrade the ships to be optically and NVD compatible to the helicopter pilot visually when wearing night vision devices for approach and landing during night flight operations.
Maintenance/Transport Bench 2019
In September of 2019 D. Gillette Industrial Services was asked to manufacture, assembly, and deliver 15 Maintenance/Transport Benches. The Maintenance/Transport Bench is used in support of Squadron Transitions from Legacy Aircraft F/A-18 A/D to Super Hornet Aircraft FA-18 E/F at NAS Oceana.
Brake Spacer Assembly, Main Landing Gear 2019
D. Gillette Industrial Services was contracted to address the manufacture, assembly, and delivery of the Brake Spacer Assembly, Main Landing Gear (MLG). The Brake Spacer Assembly, MLG is required to support the F/A-18 E-G Aircraft when the Multiple Disk Brake is removed from the aircraft by acting as a spacer to allow towing capability.
USMC Expeditionary Airfield Team Airfield Lighting 2019
A requirement was successfully satisfied to provide one EAF Kit1 and one Kit2. Kit1 consisted of well over 100,000 feet of cable reels and conductor cables. Kit2 consisted of several LED REILS with install kits.
ECS Test Port Pressure Sets 2019
There have been hypoxia issues with the F/A-18 aircraft, which have resulted in the loss of aircraft, and which have a very serious chance of resulting in loss of life. The F-18 ECS system pressure is measured, via ground test ports at eleven stages of the ECS to ensure adequate air flow to the cabin and avionics. ECS test gauges are directly related to prevention of Physiological Episodes (PE) which are the top safety concern for Naval Aviation.
Nuclear Grade Stainless Steel 2019
A requirement was successfully satisfied to provide nuclear grade stainless steel to the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. As a requirement, the steel was ultrasonically tested, alloy identity tested, heat treatment and liquid penetrant tested.
On Board Oxygen Generating System (OBOGS) Air Source Tester 2019
DGI was asked to manufacture, assemble, and deliver On-Board Oxygen Generating System (OBOGs) Air Source Testers.
Shock Link Assemblies 2019
DGI managed the manufacture, assembly, and delivery of F/A-18E/F and EA-18G aircraft main landing gear ground handling Shock Link Assemblies.
CVN Skip Plates 2019
The objective of this effort was to manufacturer two first article lots of Centerline Skip plates, each out of different alloys, to be installed onto the deck of an aircraft carrier. This is in support of the tasking to NAVAIR Lakehurst to improve the survivability from aircraft hook strikes.
Retaining Rod Clip 2019
The objective of this effort was to manufacturer a first article of the newly redesigned retaining rod spring clip for the USCG. The prototype retaining rod clip was mounted onto the USCG MHD65 to evaluate the effectiveness and durability of the clip during flight operations.
Fire Control Computer Thumbsticks - Complete
DGI managed the Fire Control Computer (FCC) Thumbsticks to support the US fleet of the M119A3 Howitzers. The USG requested that an alternative means of operating the touchscreen FCC be fielded in the event that damage is incurred to the item. This will allow the FCC to continue to be used and increase mission readiness.
APR-39 Tool Kits – Complete
DGI will be addressing the requirements and tasks associated with the manufacture and production of Times Microwave Tool Sets to support the H-1 Helicopter Program.
DGI is currently procuring the necessary tools and materials to deliver the Tool Kits to our customer.
ECS Differential Gauges – Complete
DGI is addressing the procurement of a variety of gauges to replace ECS Pressure Test Port sets for the F/A-18 Program with the help of Absolute Process Instruments.
Rudder Strut Assemblies – Complete
DGI managed the manufacture and delivery QTY of the Rudder Strut Assembly, and manufactured the Rudder Strut Assembly to print with proper coatings and labels.
Crow Foot Wrenches – Complete
DGI managed the manufacture, assembly, and delivery of the F/A-18 EFG Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) P/N 3221AS760-1, Modified-Start Valve Crowfoot Wrench used during Organizational level maintenance (O-Level) to assemble/dissemble the dump valve from the start valve assembly.
FLIR Wiring Kits – Complete
DGI managed the requirements and tasks associated with the manufacture and production of sixteen FLIR Hotlink Wire Repair Tool Sets to support the H-1 Helicopter Program. DGI partnered with Daniels Manufacturing Group to procure the tools necessary for this effort. After testing, inspection, and packaging the tools were delivered to the customer.
Bore Gauge Kits – Complete
March 2020 D. Gillette Industrial Services was contracted to address the manufacture, assembly, and delivery of the F/A-18 EFG Horizontal Stabilator Bore Gauge Measurement Kit. The Bore Gauge Kit is used to measure the Horizontal Stabilator Bores on F/A-18E/F and EA-18G aircraft, specifically the inside diameter of the Bushings which the aircraft spindle bearings ride against. The objective of this effort is to procure the measurement kits required to support the F/A-18 SE Return to Readiness Initiative.
MDR-80 Cable Assembly - Complete
September 2019 D. Gillette Industrial Services was contracted to address the manufacture, assembly, and delivery of the of the Cable Assembly Set, MDR-80 in support of the Squadron transitions from Legacy Aircraft (F/A-18 A-D) to Super Hornet Aircraft (F/A-18 E/F) at NAS Oceana.

January 2021 D. Gillette Industrial Services was contracted to complete annual maintenance on Isochronal Maintenance Stand System on the Dover Air Force Base.

July 2020 D. Gillette Industrial Services was contracted to complete maintenance on the Mobile Tail Enclosure located on the Dover Air Force Base.
