PROBLEM

SOLUTION

Uneven heat and flame distribution. Units were prone to rust and dust contamination (900 oven burners used for commercial purposes; 150 burners/lines)

DGI developed an orifice changeout program and airflow venting program to guarantee even heat distribution throughout oven and over the entire 48” belt width and 200’ length to reduce rust issue. DGI developed a changeout and surface treatment program, all within an FDA-compliant environment.

RESULT

This program saved one facility 180% in wasted gas usage and downtime. The program was shared with six other facilities having similar issues.
